Marketplace listing sync checks across your channels
SI compares title, price, quantity, and identifiers on the store with each marketplace listing and lists the rows that drifted.
Worth knowing: Marketplace fees and listing rules are not applied here. This is a match of the fields you export.
The problem
The store product is the source, but Amazon, eBay, or another channel still shows an old price, a sold-out quantity, or a different identifier. Matching store counts with your spreadsheet catches drift in your own files. It does not compare live listings across channels.
What SI does
SI matches SKUs or identifiers across the store export and each channel export. It lists mismatches in price, quantity, title, GTIN, and status (active vs draft vs ended). It does not push updates to any channel.
Examples
The same job looks different in different businesses. These are illustrations, not client results.
- Seller on Shopify and Amazon
Three listings still show a sale price that ended on the store last week.
- Seller on Shopify and eBay
Two listings are active on eBay with quantity 1 while the store is at zero.
- Home-goods brand
Titles were rewritten on the store and never copied to the marketplace. SI lists those SKUs with both titles.
What it takes to set up
Exports from the store and each marketplace, plus the match key (SKU, ASIN, marketplace item ID). Setup is often a few days, longer if identifiers were never aligned.
What a human still checks
- A person decides which channel is wrong before anything is edited.
- SI does not publish, end, or change prices on listings.
- Unmatched SKUs stay on a review list rather than being forced to a listing.
Try it yourself
Paste this into your SI tool of choice and swap the [bracketed] parts for your own details. It asks SI to stop and show you before it does anything.
Match [store export] to [marketplace export] on [SKU or identifier]. List rows where price, quantity, title, GTIN, or status disagree. Include both values and the date of each file. Do not publish, end, or change any listing. Pause and show me before sending, submitting, posting, or changing anything.
