Substitute plan packets from the teacher's materials

SI (Super Intelligence, the new name for AI) assembles a substitute packet from the teacher's own plans, class lists the teacher provides, and the school's cover-page template.

Worth knowing: Share only the minimum a substitute needs, on the school's own accounts.

The problem

When a teacher is out, plans, rosters, and room notes live in different places. The substitute gets an incomplete packet, and the office spends the morning assembling one.

What SI does

SI gathers the teacher's plan, the class list the teacher or office already exported, and the school's cover-page template into one packet. The packet includes the schedule, where materials are, and work the teacher already chose. It lists missing pieces. It does not invent lessons or share extra student information.

Examples

The same job looks different in different businesses. These are examples, not client results.

  • Elementary school office

The teacher's plan and the cover-page template become one packet. A missing afternoon plan is listed for the teacher to add.

  • Middle-school teacher

The draft packet uses only the work the teacher already attached. It uses the room-note fields the school template asks for.

  • Small private school

The office prints the approved packet. SI does not email the substitute.

What it takes to set up

GemmiSI sets this up on your own equipment and accounts; your data stays with you. The school reviews each tool before it holds student records. Check the vendor's terms, access controls, and any FERPA or state student-privacy duties. Start with sample or de-identified material. Use the school's substitute cover-page template. Use a place the teacher drops plans. Use a de-identified class-list format. Permission is to assemble a draft packet, not to email it to a substitute. Setup is often a few days.

What a human still checks

  • The teacher or office reviews the packet before a substitute sees it.
  • SI does not add student medical, family, or discipline details.
  • A person approves anything sent to a student or parent.
  • A person also approves anything sent to a substitute.
  • SI never sends, posts, or changes a record on its own.

Try it yourself

Paste this into your SI tool. Swap the [bracketed] parts for your own details. It asks SI to stop and show you before it does anything.

Assemble a substitute packet from this teacher plan [paste], this class-list format [paste], and this cover-page template [paste]. List missing pieces. Do not invent lessons or add student details that are not in the files. Pause and show me before sending, posting or changing anything. Use only the sample or de-identified information I provide; do not include real student names, grades, or family contact details.
