A one-page brief on a prospect before you meet

Before a meeting or pitch, SI gathers public information about the organization and your past contact into a short brief.

The problem

Walking into a meeting unprepared costs credibility, but researching every prospect takes time nobody has. Past emails and notes about the account are scattered.

What SI does

SI reads the prospect's website, recent public news and any public profiles you point it to, plus your own CRM notes and past emails. It produces a one-page brief: what they do, size and locations if public, recent changes, who you are meeting, past interactions, and three questions worth asking. Sources are listed so you can check them.

Examples

The same job looks different in different businesses. These are illustrations, not client results.

  • Commercial insurance broker

Before meeting a growing restaurant group, the brief notes the two new locations opening, the current carrier mentioned in an old email, and questions about liquor liability.

  • Staffing agency

A brief on a regional manufacturer covers its open job postings, recent plant expansion news, and the last conversation with its HR manager.

  • Architecture firm

Before a school district interview, the brief summarizes the district's published facilities plan and past projects of similar size.

What it takes to set up

Read access to your CRM and email, plus a list of sources you consider acceptable. Setup is often a day.

What a human still checks

  • The person meeting the prospect checks facts against the listed sources.
  • SI uses public and your own information only.
  • Anything uncertain is marked as such, not stated as fact.

Try it yourself

Paste this into your SI tool of choice and swap the [bracketed] parts for your own details. It asks SI to stop and show you before it does anything.
